Tiffany Graduates.....Again
Tiffany got to graduate from elementary school twice! How? Well, last year we were living in L.A. and the elementary school there ends in 5th grade but here in AZ, it ends in 6th. So, last year we did the whole production with the grandparents who lived close, presents, and all the all unnecessary crap that goes on for an elementary school graduation ;). This year was very low key. I wasn't even aware of the details until last night and with Andrew out of town, it was just me and Johnny. I can't believe she will be in middle school in a couple months. I guess we need to move and find a school were 7th grade is still in the elementary schools :)

"Baby Brother" Nash
He's here!! Our sweet baby boy, who's name is yet to be determined, was born on Friday, Oct. 23 at 9:57 am. Weighing in at 6lbs. 9oz. and 20.5 in long. Not bad for 4 weeks early. He's so sweet and all he wants to sleep. You would think that one would be happy with all the sleep but I spent most my day (and night) trying to wake him up (crazy, I know) so I can try to feed him. Most of us can't get enough of him, Abby is having some issues. She said today she wanted him back in my belly. We are so happy he is here!

Passing on the Torch (Sort of)
Apparently Tiffany and Nicole don't think I'm doing a very good job keeping the family blog updated so, they have both started their own. They love getting comments, so keep 'em coming! I too will TRY to be better about posting more:)

We're Back!!
Well, not much goin' on here. This happens to be the most exciting thing in our home at the moment....
Abigail has decided she wants to use the potty. Really on her own, I haven't forced the issue much. If I've learned anything from motherhood it's that, having to run to the potty when you're at the very back of Costco, just makes life that much harder!
So, Abby announces she has to "peed", and her sisters come running to watch! I guess for some strange reason it is pretty dang cute. Side note: Tiffany's stomach doesn't really stick out like that, she just has terrible posture!

Better Watch What We Say
In the last few weeks Abby has been quoting some little gems that she has picked up around the house. I guess this happens when you have older kids. I don't remember Tiffany and Nicole ever talking like this. Here are a few of my favorites:
"Mind you own business"
"You psycho"
"You annoying"
"Shut you mouth"
"Chew with you mouth closed"
"You a pain in the butt"
And my personal favorite, which she said to me this morning,
"You ruin my life"
(Nicole is always saying that to Tiff.)
I guess we better be more careful about what we say around here.

Say Cheese
Last night we had our ward Christmas party, good times. A member/friend introduced his new company. I'd explain what it is but I'm sure I wouldn't get it right. So, check it out here http://www.hdphotobooth.com/.
It was SOOO fun!! I think the adults may have had more fun with it than the kids did (Sarah). You see your pictures instantly and they print out on the spot. It's such a great idea for parties, weddings, ect. Anyway that's my plug, check it out for yourself.

Praise To The Man...
This is all about "the (only) man" of the house. I'm finally getting around to putting up a few pics of Andrew's trip to China and one of him at Halloween.
We were invited to a "dress up" Halloween party. We have never been to one before so this was a new experience for us. I didn't think Andrew would get into it and I was right up until about 5 hours till party time. Then he decides that he wants to go as the Joker. His friend told him earlier in the week that he had good "joker hair", nuff said! So, me being amazing, threw this little number together in just a few short hours. After a quick trip to the thrift store, craft store, and Halloween store, I rushed home to dye his shirt purple and his vest green. Then came make up and hair. Wa La........

Here are a few pictures at the Water Cube and The Birds Nest with some random Chinese people who wanted their pictures taken with Andrew. They must have thought, with those killer looks, he's got to be "somebody".

HAPPY BIRTHDAY NICOLE!
Today Nicole is 9!! Were does the time go? We celebrated with family in San Diego on Saturday at "The Club" (county club which grandma and grandpa Nash belong to) which was what Nicole had requested. She's a funny girl.
I remember when she was born, she was such a pretty newborn. She wasn't all squished or cone headed. She is a sweet, intense, serious, little girl and we love her very much! She's got her mom's looks and her dad's brains. What more could a girl ask for?

Trunk or Treat
Last night was our ward trunk or treat. I have spent the last month slaving away at costumes for the girls. That's right folks, these babies are hand made (mostly) by yours truly.
I was afraid Abby wouldn't want to wear her costume. She cried during her "fittings" but as soon as I put her little black doggy nose (which she almost immediately rubbed off by touching and saying, "yook at my nose") she loved it. I'm not quite done putting the black spots on the skirt.
Nicole, my little politician, was Betsy Ross. She's not showing her bag which looks like the original American Flag and kind of makes the whole outfit make sense. She was pleased that people at church knew who she was since no at school had even heard of Betsy Ross (sad).

Tiff, who was originally supposed to be Lola from Hannah Montana, decided it was easier just to tell everyone she was a punk. It took way to long to try and explain exactly WHO Lola was.
And then there was me....I wasn't going to dress up originally but, when I came across an awesome dress Friday afternoon (thanks Michelle) for $15, I couldn't pass it up. Just see for yourself....
I was Miss Utah 1985 and my friend Naomi was Miss Hawaii 1985. We even won a prize. I mean, OF COURSE we won a prize. We looked goooood!! My hair just poofed so naturally. I think I may have missed my true purpose in life.

A few more pictures of some of my friends. Naomi, Lisa (Galaxy fan), me, Sarah (the garden gnome).

Cute Abba-girl
Abby loves to sing and one of her favorites is "Take Me Out To The Ball Game". For a long time, she would interrupt anyone who was singing it, and yell "boobies". Seriously, I have no idea why. Now, she will actually sing it (or attempt to sing). You can make out "Take me out, crackerjacks, one, two, game, and route, route, Dodgers". Everything else is a little unclear. So, here she is doing the "boobies" version and the real version.
FYI- about 35 seconds in, there are 2 VERY loud horn honks.

"Punkin" Time
In the words of Abby, its Punkin time. Translation, pumpkin time. Abby and I spent a couple hours this morning with friends at the local pumpkin patch. She had a great time playing with her little friends as did I .
So, if your sick of all the pumpkin patch blogs that seem to surface this time of year, tough! You see, I'm not your typical "take your kid on an outing for fun" kind of mom. So, the fact that we went, and I remembered my camera, deserves to be documented.
Playing in the big wagon ( I just realized that this is a pretty good
picture of what Abby would look like with her ears pinned back)

She's so stinkin' cute
Abby and Josie's cup of food

Me and my baby.
No pumpkins were purchased. Tiffany and Nicole would go into cardiac arrest if I had picked out their pumpkins for them! Looks like we'll be back.
