Abigail's ears!!
I say, cute now, but not in 10 years. Andrew says, she's fine, her hair will cover them. I'm not so sure about that one. Besides, does that mean she can never wear a ponytail !!??
I mean, it does run in the family, (not my side) and she wouldn't be the first to have them surgically altered..(I won't name names but, you know who you are). I'm all for a surgery that makes you look better and feel better about yourself!
So I told Andrew I was going to ask around to see what people thought, HONESTLY!
But, BE NICE, it's not her fault (it's Andrews)!! She's still my sweet, cute little baby !

i just love that you are bringing hot topics into your blog. i am a fence sitter on this. maybe see how she grows (or doesn't) into them. how old was deb? obviously if she's 8 and they are really out there maybe it's a good time. was there something about doing it earlier being better??
should i be posting this on mine as wels about vance? i don't think they look that bad in the picture you have here.
Where are the Balmforth's on this one? Go for it, Andrew is being a nice daddy, protecting his baby! But maybe she will be totally comfortable with herself and won't care. Are there risks for doing it younger?
i don't think its an issue of growing into them. they aren't BIG, they STICK OUT! maybe that pic isn't the best to show them off, they look worse in the family pic. at top. as for andrew, i think its more an issue of protecting his wallet!

I'd say pin 'em, she'll be grateful in the longrun. Jess sisters all WISH they had their ears pinned, they kind have big ears too and neither of them EVER wear their hair up. So while she is young and it doesn't bother her would be best before she developes a complex ;) But HONESTLY, she is darling and her hair would cover them up...
I happen to have a sister that goes by the name of Nattle Pattle who had her ears pinned. I don't think she regertted my mother's decision. But, they are kind of cute the way they are.

Ok My Niece Jordin HATES her ears she is now 16 and wants to have her ears pinned so bad.. She hates to wear Hat's, Pony tails and she feels her ears stick out of her long hair. (and Hat's) I think if it saves her from
any teasing as she gets older (I was teased about my Butt and Lips Being Big) So I say do it while she is young and be done with it, So no more worries. She is a Beautiful little girl. And your a Great MOM.

i totally missed this conversation, but i am all for anything that helps girls...i thank my mother for a few key procedures myself, but my point would just be what time...she's too young right now, right?
she must have amazing hearing...shhhh, i wouldnt say any thing to loud when your around her!!!! im just kiddding they are cute and if all else fails and you cant fix them, they could always double for a parachute!!!
